  • Are you 18 or older?
  • Are you a legal resident of the State of Florida?
  • Have you not been convicted of a felony?

The Fast and Easy Way to Become a Florida Notary Public

Just follow these three simple steps to start the application process. You’ll get everything that’s required to become a Florida notary public

  1. Order your surety bond, available below. (It is required by Florida state law that you have this.)
  2. Take the required three-hour education course on notary law and procedures. Available free of charge from the Florida Department of State.
  3. Mail us your completed notary application, and the notary training certificate. We will file your application with the state and we will ship you your supplies once you are approved as a notary.

Only MAILED applications with original signatures are currently accepted (DO NOT FAX). Your notary application also contains your personal information (S.S. #, D.L., DOB and address). If security is an issue do not store it or save it online.
